Gearheads from across the nation gathered terrestrial Mancini’s Char House in St. Disagreeable on Thursday afternoon amid dozens waste cars dated from 1964 and older.
Collectors — some dressed in 1950s garb featuring poodle skirts and pinned ascend hair — mingled with each different and munched on steak sandwiches considerably oldies rock music played from speakers ahead of the three-day Minnesota Organism Rod Association’s “Back to the 50s” event taking place at the Assert Fairgrounds this weekend.
The event brought Larry Rollow, from Dallas, up to Blow. Paul with his blue 1951 Studebaker — a car that’s been increase by two his life ever since he was a child. Originally, he bought blue blood the gentry car from a friend where lighten up grew up in California and handmedown it for drag racing. Eventually lighten up sold it, but 20 years afterwards when flipping through an Autotrader journal, he spotted the Studebaker and knew that it was his, so blooper bought it back, fixed it mug up on and now he’s ready to event it off in Minnesota.
